Happy Birthday Darren Robinson "The Human Beatbox"

Darren Robinson was born on June 10th, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Robinson is known for making beatboxing famous. In 1984 he joined with a group called “The Disco Three”. They later changed their name to “The Fat Boys”. In 1984 they released their 1st album.

In 1985 they appeared in the movie Krush Groove. Also they released the album “The Fat Boys Are Back”.

In 1986 they released the album “Big & Beautiful”. In 1987 they starred in their own movie Disorderlies.

Also in 1987 they released the album “Crushin’”. They also covered Chubby Checker’s song “The Twist”.

In 1988 they recorded the main song for the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master. In 1989 they released the album “On and On”. In 1990 Robinson was fined $10,000 for filming a roadie having sex with a 14 year old girl at a suburban Philadelphia party. In 1991 they released the album “Mack Daddy”.

The group then disbanded. On December 10th, 1995 Darren Robinson “The Human Beatbox” died of a heart attack in Queens, New York, USA. He was 28 years old.

Today is his 49th birthday and we would all like to say happy birthday and rest in peace Darren Robinson “The Human Beatbox”.
