Spiderman Homecoming (2017) 1st Reaction

“If you're nothing without the suit, then you shouldn't have it” - Iron Man

*SPOILERS*

I felt like a kid again going to see this film. Spiderman Homecoming (2017) was great. I would say that Tom Holland is my 2nd favorite Spiderman. My favorite part of the film was the final fight scene between the Vulture (Michael Keaton) and Spiderman (Tom Holland). I really liked Michael Keaton’s performance as the Vulture and I loved how tense the scene was where he finds out Spiderman’s identity which is even more tense than how the Green Goblin found out Spiderman’s identity in Spiderman (2002). If I was to critique anything it would be the sappy crush parts between Spiderman and the Vulture’s daughter. Overall I would give this film a 9/10. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes action films, superhero films and Marvel films.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 1st Reaction

“I’m Mary Poppins y’all” - Yondu
Image result for guardians of the galaxy 2 poster
*SPOILERS*

This is the craziest MCU film to date. Just about everything was crazy about this film including the visuals the dialogues and the character designs. My favorite part of the film was the fight scene between Star Lord and Ego the Living Planet. There was so much emotion in that fight and you can see the pain in Star Lord’s eyes after learning that his father killed his mother. One thing i didn't like in the film was that it was being either too funny or too emotional and that there was no in between for the most part. I also didn’t like how it occurs the same year as the first film instead of the current year. I don’t like this because how are they going to explain what the team has been doing between now and Avengers: Infinity War. I would give this film an 8 out of 10. I would recommend this to any Marvel, comic book or sci fi fan.

What I Think
I saw this movie in theaters when I was 13 years old. I believe this film was better than the previous Iron Man 2 (2010) but not as good as Iron Man (2008). My favorite part of the movie is where Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is confronting Loki (Tom Hiddleston) about what he has done and there was so much emotion in their fight between each other. This is my 11th favorite MCU movie as of this date, above Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor: The Dark World (2013) and The Incredible Hulk (2008).

What I Think
I didn’t see this movie in theaters when it was released for reasons I do not remeber but I wish I did. Even though it was not as good as the 1st Iron Man (2008) movie it was still good and better than The Incredible Hulk (2008). My favorite part of the movie is where Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and War Machine (Don Cheadle) fight off the drones and Whiplash (Mickey Rourke). This is my 12th favorite MCU movie as of this date above Thor: The Dark World (2013) and The Incredible Hulk (2008).

Doctor Strange 1st Reaction

“Dormammu, I've come to bargain!” - Doctor Strange
Image result for dr. strange poster
*SPOILERS*

This was a great movie and a great end to the superhero movies of 2016. This movie had great CGI effects and every character was portrayed perfectly for the most part. My favorite part of the movie was when Dr. Strange went to Dormammu to bargain with him and trapped him in an endless time loop and how comical it became every time Dr. Strange was killed and immediately came back saying the same thing. I was also very excited at the first after credit scene when Dr. Strange tells Thor he will help him find Odin. Even though the movie was hard to find flaws in there was something i didn’t like. The movie didn’t really explain how regular people are viewing the world while the sorcerers are fighting in public which i thought they should have explained more. I would give this movie a 9 out of 10. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes comic book movies and movies involving crazy visuals.

What I Think
I saw this movie in theaters when i was 10 years old and i really liked it. After re watching it i saw flaws that i didn't see when i 1st watched it. Compared to the other MCU movies it is the worst of the 13 but as a film by itself it is an okay film. It has good effects and good acting from the lead Edward Norton but everything else is just okay. My favorite scene from the movie was the final showdown between Hulk and Abomination. This is my 13th favorite MCU film and i would recommend it to fans of the MCU and other comic book fans.

Captain America: Civil War 1st Reaction

“I'm sorry Tony.... I wouldn't do this if I had any other choice... but he's my friend” - Captain America
“So was I” - Iron Man

*SPOILERS*

Favorite MCU movie of all time. I love this movie. I loved this more than The Avengers (2012). Everything was perfect about this movie. Black Panther, Spider Man and Ant Man stole the show. Black Panther stole the show through his awesomeness and the display of his totally vibranium suit and his martial arts skills. Spider Man stole the show with him being the perfect incarnation of his comic book self and his multiple one liners during the airport fight scene. Ant Man stole the show through his new ability of becoming Giant Man. The final fight between Captain America and the Winter Soldier vs Iron Man is so sad because after all of these movies of Captain America and Iron Man being on the same side it is so sad to see them fight each other with such brutality. My favorite part of the movie was the whole airport scene. Everything about it was so perfect. Each superhero showed the best of what they can do without trying to kill each other. Out of all of the perfectness this movie was there was one thing that truly annoyed me throughout the whole movie. It was how large the text was every time they entered a new country. At first i didn't mind it then it started to get annoying because the characters go basically all around the world. I give this movie a 9.9 out of 10. I highly recommend this movie it is nearly perfect.
